Virtual Declamation Contest 2021

Oratory is an art that takes great effort on part of those who take this art to perfection. DHACSS COLLEGE for WOMEN organized its Annual Bilingual Declamation Competition this time online. The competitors showcasing their skills in the event to a maximum for the delight of all those in attendance.

After a hard fought battle, Agha Khan Higher Secondary School won the Team Trophy.

Winners in English were :

3rd position. M Shahood Baig from Agha Khan Higher Secondary School

2nd position. M. Fahad Ali from  NUST-PNEC, and

1st postion went to Alizay Hashmi from University of Karachi.

Winners in Urdu were:

3rd position Ghania Fatima from Sir Syed Govt Girls College

2nd position Ansab Qureshi from University of Sindh Jamshoro, and

1st position went to Misbah Sheikh from Agha Khan Higher Secondary School

Degree Orientation 2021

DHACSS College for Women welcomed the new batch of students for its Bachelor degree programs. An Orientation session was arranged in this regard where students were informed about the rich and marvelous history of DCW especially how our alumni have always performed brilliantly in academics. In addition, a short documentary was shown highlighting the Kashmir conflict which all in attendance appreciated. Principal DCW Dr. Farhat Agha also addressed the students emphasizing the importance of giving a 100 percent for the task ahead as far as education was concerned.

All Pakistan Fatima Sughra Virtual Quiz Competition, part of SPECTRUM '21, a first ever festival of online competitions organized by DHACSS College for Women came to an end today. The finalists gave a tremendous nail-biting finish to the tournament. The chief guest Sadia Sheikh appreciated the efforts of all the participants and the host, especially the principal DCW Dr. Farhat Agha and her staff for the dedication in hosting such an event. The championship officially came to an end when Govt. Girls High School Ghundi Peeran Azad Kashmir were announced the winners and Subha e Nau School  NORE 1 Karachi the runner-ups.
