Fun-based Learning – Tour D’ Karachi
DHACSS College For Women organized a Tour D’ Karachi for the students of intermediate on 17th December 2024. It’s an annual recreational activity that provides an opportunity to students not only to refresh their minds but also inculcates a habit of learning through fun.
The adventurous ride to See Karachi began with a drive along the lively streets of DHA, setting the mood for a day filled with exploration.The first spot was Quaid-e-Azam’s Mausoleum, where students stopped to recite Fatiha, reflecting on the legacy of Pakistan’s founder. From there, they visited Quaid-e-Azam House, grooving back in time as they viewed his personal belongings and learned more about his life.
Next, they headed down the historical Bandar Road to the State Bank of Pakistan Museum. Students were fascinated by the display of old coins and enjoyed browsing the souvenir shop for little mementos. The impressive architecture of the State Bank building captivated the attention of students. The group then made their way to Kemari, taking in a bird’s-eye view of the port before wrapping up the journey.
Lunch at the Beach View Club was a perfect ending to this recreational trip. Students returned to the college with new memories. The trip was really exciting; blending education with adventure.
